Romy-Jean brings valuable commercial knowledge and experience in the areas of corporate governance, policy and compliance, procurement, property, franchising, consumer law and intellectual property. She has a special interest in litigation, statutory interpretation and contract law. Romy-Jean holds a Bachelor of Laws with honours and has a unique background including many years’ experience as an in-house counsel at an international food group and also at Racing Queensland. During this time, Romy’s role included assisting with multi-million-dollar construction projects, transactions, disputes as well as issues arising with a portfolio of over 300 leased properties. Romy-Jean’s clients appreciate her unwavering service standards and professionalism that come from an understanding of the law that is well beyond her years.
