Danielle is an experienced lawyer providing specialist legal advice and practical solutions to the Australian retirement living sector.
Danielle holds a Bachelor of Business and a Bachelor of Laws with first class honours.
She has developed a unique and thorough understanding of the retirement living sector through many years of first-hand experience with national retirement village operators, manufactured home park owners, industry associations, regulators, residents and their families.
Throughout her career, Danielle has worked for regulators, listed retirement village operators and a national law firm specialising in retirement living.
Danielle has developed a reputation for providing excellent retirement living advice to operators and residents including:
- drafting and reviewing contract documents;
- retirement village conveyancing;
- assessing and acquiring communities;
- complex budget issues; and
- general compliance.
Danielle has a special interest in dispute resolution, with a focus of proactively resolving and preventing disputes for the mutual benefit of residents, operators and the industry.
Danielle enjoys being actively involved in the retirement living industry. She is a regular speaker at industry and resident events, has consulted and advised on legislative changes, and is a current member of the Property Council’s Retirement Living Committee and the UDIA’s Seniors Living Committee.
Danielle is also an established property lawyer with expertise in commercial and residential transactions throughout Australia.
